I have not been able to watch Netflix in what feels
like forever. However, this show came on Netflix that I always wanted to watch,
but never had the time to watch it. The show is called Arrow. Arrow is the show
that is based off of a comic book hero by the name of Green Hood. It is about a
spoiled rich kid who discovered himself after being stranded on an island for
five years. Once he was found on the island and came back to the city, he
discovered how much he was a changed man. His parents were wealthy and betrayed
the city in order to become wealthy. Now, the Hood (the spoiled rich kid) is trying
to “right what his parents wronged” and decided to become a vigilante who makes
the rich pay for their crimes. He resembles a modern day Robin Hood, but he has
no problem with getting his hands dirty when he needs to. The TV show is pretty
good and I would recommend it for people that have some free time and are into
comics.
Ever since I have been young I have always been into
comics and super heroes. My favorite movies are the ones that are based off of
Marvel and DC comics (even though the comics and the movies usually don’t
follow well). As a child, I would go to the UCLA book fair (now it is held at
USC) and every year I would get myself one comic book. It was always a huge
family event. I can still remember the first comic book my parents gave me. It
was a Marvel vs. DC comic book and on the occasion I still go back and read it
for memory sake. I had a great child hood with my parents and I am continuing
to live a great life as an adult, I just wish that I would be able to have as
much fun with my kids as I did with my parents.
